Another first for British Drum Co as the Red Hot Chili Pipers join the artist rosta for both drum set AND marching!
Formed in 2002, the ‘Red Hot Chilli Pipers’ (RHCP) are a Scottish Celtic rock group, known around the world for creating and performing tunes using guitars, keyboards, drums and their bagpipes to create their own unique ‘Bagrock’ sound.
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers perform a fusion of traditional pipe tunes and contemporary pieces. Notable covers performed have included “We Will Rock You” by Queen, “Clocks” by Coldplay and “Smoke on the Water” by Deep Purple.
This partnership represents another ‘first’ for British Drum Co as the RHCP endorsement will cover not only drum set but also the Axial Series from their marching division. The endorsement is for a massive 10 years which shows a big commitment from both sides.
Marching Division Manger Stu Warmington said “It’s an honour once again to add another high-profile group into the artist roster of BDC. The 10 year deal shows commitment, dedication and the new partnership will see the Red Hot Chili Pipers through their 30th Anniversary in 2032. We’re proud to be associated with this amazing band and look forward to working with them over the next 10 years”
RHCP Managing Director Kevin McDonald replied “After 21 years of being involved with the Red Hot Chilli Pipers, we are delighted to have signed a ten year deal with the British Drum Company. This will greatly enhance our touring capabilities as we now position BDC kits and marching snares in Europe, USA and the UK. It’s amazing to be part of their exciting journey”.
The band are just about to embark on their 6-week tour of the USA before heading out on their European tour in April.
The Red Hot Chilli Pipers will be furnished with Legend drum sets and Axial series drums and have chosen the very popular Scarlet Ash Burst as their finish for all drums.
