ABOUT THE DRUMMER
Emanuel J Burton is a British born, Jamaican heritage and raised in Davenport, Florida. He is a drummer, band leader, music director and creative entrepreneur. Enthralled by music’s ability to connect with people on a deeper level, he expresses himself through music, rooted in his desire to embolden positive and healing vibrations.
He developed the passion to make music with sentiment and play from the soul in virtue of using the power of music as a form of therapy. Emanuel relishes in infusing spoken word and story telling through the drums. An avid studio dweller, he has worked with and continues to work with Little Simz, FKJ, Tom Misch, Misha B, Children of Zeus, Yazmin Lacey and July 7.
As a solo artist he has supported tours for, The Midnight Hour, Steam Down, 30/70 Collective, and KOKOROKO.
